Lighting Up Communities, One Kiosk at a Time!
Until recently, communities like Aponoso, Krobofom, and Bentum had no access to electricity. To simply charge a phone or radio, residents had to walk 2 kilometers or more — a journey that could take days to complete and delay critical communication, especially during emergencies.
This May, thanks to the support of ROGEAP grants, that changed.
We at Sunhut Limited brought solar-powered kiosks right into the heart of these villages — not just as tech or energy installations, but as lifelines and community hubs.
These kiosks now offer:
Phone charging for families and traders
24/7 access to clean energy
Support for local businesses
The image says it all — curious kids, engaged elders, and smiles all around as we launched another step toward energy inclusion.
