Tailorkope — Torku Christian & Joyce Asiedua

In Tailorkope, a vibrant community of about 250 households in the Kwahu Afram Plains South District of Ghana’s Eastern Region,  Torku Christian and Joyce Asiedua are teaming up to serve their community. Christian serves as both a driver and the community secretary. Known for his humble nature, he works hard to support his family and serve his neighbors.

Joyce Asiedua is a trader, committed to supporting her customers and providing for their family.

Now, they are joining forces as co-lessees of a ROGEAP Sunhut solar-powered kiosk. Together, they will provide reliable charging services for phones, torches, and other small devices, saving residents the cost and time of traveling long distances just for electricity.

For this couple, this kiosk is more than a business. It’s a family-led effort to keep Tailorkope powered, connected, and moving forward. And for a community of this size, the impact will be felt in every household.
